SIPJ at the Conference of Clubs 2016

Four members of SIPJ attended the 20th Conference of Clubs in Sydney from 29 April to 1 May 2016 – SISWP IPP Puan Sri Siew Yong Gnanalingam, SISWP incoming PE and YSM Chairman Dato’ Anusha Santhirasthipam, IPP Sharon Saw and Joyce Kee.

The venue was at Waterview Convention Centre, Olympic Park, and the conference had around 300 participants from all over the federation.

Malaysia was well represented with 20 representatives from SI Bangsar, Damansara, KL, Penang, PJ and Shah Alam

The conference opened with the flag bearing ceremony.

It was a dynamic few days of business sessions, where there were fiery discussions and resolutions passed. We also had inspirational speakers, who shared their experiences and perspectives.

The highlight of the conference for SIPJ was receiving the Best Practice award for our SEEED JobsForLife project.

Thank you to the conference organising committee for the great conference. It was a splendid time to catch up with old friends and make new ones, learn new perspectives on relevant topics, discuss our organisational issues and also have a lot of fun!
