Top Volunteer Malaysia Award 2016

SIPJ congratulates our SIROM delegate and SPOT Project Lead Siti Aishah Hassan Hasri for receiving the “Superelawan of the Year” award –  on behalf of Project Transformation Rural Youth (TRY). This was the highest award presented at the first ever Volunteer Malaysia Awards – A Prime Minister’s Award event, which was organised by 1Malaysia for Youth (iM4U) on 9 December 2016.

Siti Aishah has been carrying out SIPJ’s SPOT-related programmes within Project TRY for 15-35 year olds. Project SPOT was also honoured to have been nominated and short-listed.

This prestigious event was featured in various newspapers, “Be Volunteers, Malaysians Urged” in The Star , “Volunteerism, nation’s agent of growth: Najib” in The Sun, “Najib honours nation’s volunteers” in The New Straits Times, and Malaysia Gazette, among others.
