SPOT Mini Talk at SK Taman Seri Andalas

Categories: our work,SPOT

On Thursday, 9 November, between 8.30-10.00am, a SPOT Mini Talk for 160 girls, aged  10 and 11, was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Seri Andalas, who had been contacted by SPOT volunteers from the 2016 Puberteen workshop. The teacher in charge was PK HEM, Puan Fitra, while SPOT volunteers were SPOT project lead Siti Aishah Hassan Hasri, Jeannie Yap and Bull. They were also joined by three teachers, including the school counsellor Puan Lily.

The girls were very enthusiastic and responsive. They understood how important confidence was for growing teenagers and are more aware of their decision-making processes, and how they can choose to live more healthily.

The girls also requested for a SPOT PuberTeen Workshop next year, in 2018.
