Brought groceries for Lotus Care Centre. A home with a mixture of very young (4 babies),13 children (4 to 15 yrs old) and 15 old folks. Present from Sipj is Yati, President-elect, a Sipj supporter, Sally (owner of a Japanese Restaurant) and Kim, Club President.

SWP EEC – Day 8 β SI Upper Hutt and back to SI Wellington
The next morning, Phyllis Fitzgerald (and Dorothy and Jackie) drove me around to see one of SI Upper Hutt’s projects – the Teen Parent programme, which is supported by SI Upper Hutt. This programme provides secondary schooling for teenagers who are pregnant or already parents. There is childcare available and a creche onsite and classroom…

Agape Home Visit
After visiting agape kids at their home-school classrooms, we break for a southern Indian lunch. After lunch we visited the living quarters of some of the kids from Agape.
